Who is Lu? The Voted Captain of the Crew
Originally from the bug planet Zew, Lu is the founder of the Crew and the voted leader. He’s ardent about conservation and activism, and his enthusiasm is contagious! A ripping surfer, Lu also plays sax in the Crew’s garage band.
Earth Bug Fact Sheet:
* Position in the Crew: The founder of the crew and the voted leader, Lu is the original Earth Bug. He’s passionate about conservation and activism and his enthusiasm is contagious; that’s how he enlisted the help of the others in the Crew.
* Background/Education: Lu came to Earth from Zew–a planet that was very similar to Earth, but was destroyed by the Litter Bugs and Energy Spikes. He and his family came to Earth during the final days of Zew and they immediately fell in love with Earth and all the beauty that the planet has to offer. Knowing what happened to Zew, he has made it his mission to protect the Earth’s environment and to spread the word about living a Greener Life. Lu has a degree in Green Sciences from Zew University and speaks 8 different languages.
* Demeanor: Lu is very amicable and very social. He enjoys meeting new people and is always willing to strike up a conversation about the environment or conservationism with almost anyone (even if they disagree with his views). He’s always positive, and loves to stay active.

* Area of Expertise: Lu specializes in understanding the negative effects that modern day living can potentially have on the Earth. He’s usually the go-to person in the Crew for breaking down the science (both positive and negative) of Greener Living.
* Super Ability: Stretchy and Super Fast.
* Can Take on the Form of: Water
* Strength: Lu’s best at battling the Litter Bugs. He knows how they think and how they operate.
* Weakness: Lu’s still trying to figure out the Oil Slicks. If the Crew is not around, Lu can get into real trouble battling the Oil Slicks.
* Sport: All Earth Bugs excel at all sports, but Surfing is his pick. Check him out when the waves get real big!
* Favorite Type of Weather: Warm and sunny with a few white, puffy clouds.
* Art: Lu is a fan of movie making. His uncle is a filmmaker so he’s been surrounded by movies most of his life. Favorite Movies: An Inconvenient Truth, Who Killed the Electric Car and Revolution Green
* Music: A jazz fan, you’ll find Miles Davis, Charles Mingus and John Coltrane on this Bug’s iPod.
* Instrument: Lu plays the saxophone and sings.
